Integrative medicine is a term often used by advocates of alternative medicine, especially when scientific medicine and public health care use alternative medicine methods. However, the meaning is quite different, which means that alternative medicine is scientifically tested and subject to the same evidentiary requirements as conventional medicine. The aim is to capture all effective therapies and integrate them with conventional care and medical science.

Science and pseudoscience in integrative medicine
